Lieben Grudf,Jonathan

Hazel thanks for your note. (LOVE The Sartorialist!!). All black is often the default colour because it’s the easier to unify (imagine an ensemble full of slightly different shades of red), it’s easy on the eyes, and the audience tends to focus more on the music than if the ensemble were wearing different colours. The problem with saying go for it, wear any colour is what one person considers stylish another will consider completely inappropriate. There there’s the issue of colour clashing. And in classical music, there are known stereotypes about what kind of dress is associated with certain types of music. Opera performers (and audiences) tend to go all out with style and flamboyance; Baroque performers (and audiences) tend not to consider fashion a big deal and are very low-key with their apparel. Ultimately, no, I don’t think ensembles should be able to wear any colour; then it looks like a rehearsal.

For some reason trackbacks won’t even display on my blog (presumably there’s a template tag missing from my heavily customised theme). This used to bother me, but actually I’ve come to realise that I find trackbacks get in the way.As you say, they’re generally out of context. Also they tend not to give enough information to glean the context they were written in, you have to leave the current page in order to read them, and often their authors are referring to the original post but not actually commenting on it.If I ever get around to figuring why trackbacks won’t display on my blog, I might try bunching them together at the end of the comments. That way they should make sense as a group, and not interfere with the discussion.

You have to have site that is popular in order to get hits. Take myspace for example it very popular among kids thus the word of mouth advertisement is used. This I think is the best way to increase traffic. The second best option is to go around and post your website into all the search engine databases you can find. Also you might want to try Googles adsense program which can get you some money also. Most big search engines like Yahoo! or Google will let you also put a ad on their results page. Linking with othersites is really not that great. If you are using that as your main source of getting people to come I don’t see how you got 200 700 daily comming.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

I installed the light version and I am considering buying your plugin. But I have a few questions about it to see if it fits my purpose.I need a calender view per month stating that the tours for that day can be reserved or that the day is fully booked. As I understand it I can make an event for each day. ONce it’s fully booked I have to throw that event in the bin so that it no longer is shown as “bookable”. Is that the correct way of achieving this with your plugin?Other questions are:- I noticed it’s translated, but not in Dutch. Can I make my own translations in Dutch with included .po/.mo files?- Can I strip out / hide the time field?- Can the time field use the 24 hours clock (no AM PM)?- With the Gravity add-on, is it possible that the form picks up the date from the event?- If yes, also if I add the form to the event single template? (Otherwise I would have to add the form to every event).- As I understand I cannot use the repeating events because than I cannot throw an event for one specific day in the bin than. Is that correct or is there another way of achieving this?Ok, hope to hear from you, many thanks,Han

Thanks Osama.Well yes, using these sites can be part of backlinking strategy.I am not a hubpages fan! Here you have to build reputation for over months and then finally be able to put in some links. You can utilize this time to do so much more. I am all for backlinking blogs (wordpress, creating sites). My bad for not mentioning it here. Google loves original content and indexes it so fast! We have successfully used this strategy for many clients. Plus, it has long term impact, as you rightly mentioned. Read up my other blogs and fill in if you feel anything is missing.
